WHAT A SOFTENER ACTUALLY DOES
Hard Water, Explained in Plain English
Hard water is water packed with calcium and magnesium, and across Calgary and the surrounding areas, that's simply the norm. A softener grabs those minerals before they reach your taps, and the change shows up everywhere you use water.
-
No more white spots on glasses, dishes, and shower doors
-
No more scale buildup on your faucets, shower heads, or in your water heater.
-
Softer skin and hair, cleaner laundry, and soap that finally lathers
SIGNS YOU NEED ONE
Three Ways Hard Water Tells On Itself
Most homeowners live with hard water for years before naming it. These are the three complaints we hear most, and all three trace back to the same minerals.
Spots on Everything
Glassware comes out of the dishwasher cloudy and shower doors film over within days of cleaning.
Dry, Itchy Skin
Skin feels tight after a shower and hair goes flat because soap never fully rinses away.
Crusty Fixtures
Chalky buildup collects on faucets and showerheads, and the water heater starts running louder.
